On November 3, Feminists Deliver hosted a symposium where attendees talked about how white supremacy, racism, ableism, transphobia, and other systems of oppression prevent them from accessing the healthcare they deserve.

More $10-a-day childcare spaces
A total of 1,370 more childcare spaces have been converted to the $10-a-day program at 18 centres throughout the province. There are now nearly 8,200 $10-a-day spaces in B.C.
- The province plans to add more than 4,000 more $10-a-day childcare spaces over the next couple of months, bringing the total to 12,500 by the end of the year.
- Spaces in the $10-a-day ChildCareBC program reduce the average cost of childcare from $1,000 a month at participating facilities (for full-time, centre-based infant care) to $200 a month, saving families approximately $800 a month per child on average

Annual Rosemary Brown Memorial Lecture
The Rosemary Brown Award for Women is given out annually by a committee comprised of representatives from the United Nations Association in Canada (Vancouver branch), Congress of Black Women Foundation, BC Association of Social Workers, Society for Children and Youth of BC, and University Women’s Club of Vancouver.
